Among these Baidu’s performance has been staggering, peaking at 17.3 million smart speaker units in 2019. Forecasts predict an increase in the global shipments of smart speakers in 2019 to over 95 million units. The United States topped the charts in terms of smart home penetration as well as sales forecasts of smart speaker units as of 2019.
